We hope this list of frequently asked questions and responses will aid you in your decision making process. Please contact us if we can answer any additional questions.
Why should I pay a videographer when a friend can tape our wedding
for free with a camcorder?
Are you familiar with the saying “You get what you pay for”? This is
very true in wedding videography, and the problem begins with the equipment.
Even high end personal camcorders can not possibly compare with professional
equipment. Most often you will find a low quality image, bad lighting
and hollow sound quality, especially in large open areas like churches
and reception halls. Always go to an expert! There is no substitute
for professionals! We use high definition cameras with attached lighting
and wireless microphones with digital audio recording. After filming
we use professional editing programs to create a cinematic recreation
of your wedding day.
Will having a videographer seem intrusive?
Another great reason to hire a professional! We’ve been in this situation
before, and we understand the concerns of today’s bride. We go about
our job quietly and professionally without distracting you or your
guests. We work with available light during the ceremony and are careful
to obey all the rules of your ceremony location. We are there only
to document the events of your day. We pledge to be courteous and professional
with you, your friends and family.
How do we reserve our wedding date?
Now is the best time! We recommend you reserve your wedding date 3
to 6 months in advance, especially if your wedding is planned for spring
or summer. Short notice? Call or email for availability! A non-refundable
$300 deposit is required to reserve your wedding date and is due upon
signing the Work Order between you and Coverall Productions. We accept
cash, personal checks, money orders, Mastercard, Visa, American Express
and Discover.
Will there be a contract?
Yes. When you reserve your wedding date, we will both sign a “Work
Order” detailing the contractual details of your wedding video.
Do you have pricing other than packages?
Yes. We offer a full range of service so you can customize your wedding
video by selecting the specific features that interest you. All of
our Bonus Features, Love
Story Montages and Extras
are priced a la carte.
Can we get extra DVDs?
Yes. Extra DVDs are priced $25 each.
How is our wedding video produced?
With your creative input, your wedding DVD will showcase elaborate
film editing, use of professional overlays, title pages, motion menus,
extensive music editing and ending ceremony credits. Your wedding DVD
will be digitally mastered and edited in an elegant style to compliment
the style and flare of your wedding.
When will we receive our wedding video?
With our extensive team of video editing professionals, we are able
to offer a 4-6 week delivery of your wedding video! Treat yourself
to an amazing honeymoon and soon after you come home, you will be able
to relive the excitement of your wedding day!
How do you get along with the photographers you
work with?
Very well. Several photographers refer us and are pleased and impressed
with our ability to stay out of the way and keep a low profile, especially
since we don't use a lot of lights.
Have you worked at my ceremony and reception
sites before?
If we haven't worked there, we will contact the coordinator and visit
the site before your wedding day. If possible, we will attend your
rehearsal.
Do you have any references?
Are you recommended by anyone we know
or may recognize?
Yes! You can view personal references from brides and grooms and their
families in our “references and testimonials” section.
Do you own your own equipment?
Yes, we own and maintain
all equipment. The advantage that this gives us is that we have complete
control over the equipment that will capture your important memories.
Each piece of equipment in our studio is regularly maintained and tested
to assure that it is functioning properly.
